Ranney Michaels was created with the merger of principals Sharon Ranney and Eric Michaels. After studying Design-Build at Harvard University, they transformed their architectural practice to include full construction services. We are an Architect led Design-Build Firm. Our goal is to make life easy for our clients by being a full service company. What makes Ranney Michaels stand apart, is that we are intimately involved with every detail from concept through completion. We combine design, architecture and construction, taking out the stress and guess work as we provide our clients with one source of contact and responsibility.

The Ranney Michaels partnership creates a dynamic team whose creative and elegant designs include residential projects from new kitchens and baths to interior renovations additions/alterations, historic preservations and custom homes. Commercial work includes retail stores, medical facilities, restaurants and automotive dealerships.

Ranney Michaels holds architectural licenses in Connecticut and New York and are a LEED AP. They are members of the U.S. Green Building Council, Connecticut Society of Architects, American Institute of Architects, National Association of Home Builders and the Design Build Institute of America. In addition we are certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and the National Society for Historic Trust. We are licensed Construction Contractors in the State of Connecticut.
